Joan Smaal Textiel Recycling B.V. renamed as Xycles

The new name of Joan Smaal Textiel Recycling B.V. is Xycles. With the new name, we emphasise our sustainable principles. Some time ago, Joan Smaal Textile Recycling B.V. from Hardinxveld-Giessendam was taken over by TRD Group from Dordrecht. As a result, the company consists of two branches.

Global reuse

As a specialised sorting company, Xycles remains committed to the worldwide reuse of worn clothing. By extending the life cycle of a garment, the environmental impact is significantly reduced. Xycles' contribution consists of a clear and specialised process of collection, sorting and distribution.

Family business

Like Joan Smaal Textiel Recycling B.V., TRD Group is a true family business. Now that the second generation has taken over, the decision has been made to change the name. Under the new name Xycles, the Hardinxveld-Giessendam branch will face the future more sustainably than ever!

In addition to Xycles in Hardinxveld-Giessendam, textile sorting will continue under the name TRD Group in Dordrecht.
